Ghost of Tsushima PC leaker suggests major Bloodborne reveal coming soon
Ah, the world is healing again. As with any big leak of gaming news, first comes the rain, then comes the Bloodborne rumours. There's been a recent flurry of activity over at PlayStation, with leakers correctly spoiling the Ghost of Tsushima PC port ahead of time.
It seems that all you have to do is predict one game before its official reveal, and you become some gaming Kwisatz Haderach (one for you Dune fans out there). Now, the same leaker that first got the scoop on Ghost of Tsushima losing its console exclusivity claims some major Bloodborne news.
Yes, it's another Bloodborne remake tease
Over on Twitter, leaker Silknigth has set the world alight by claiming Bloodborne news is coming 'soon.' Anyone worth their salt will know FromSoftware's 2015 Soulsborne has a special place in a lot of people's hearts, and in this era of remakes and remasters, it feels like Sony is sleeping on Bloodborne.
We've obviously heard about mythical new-gen remasters, full-blown remakes, and even a Bloodborne sequel, but to be honest, most would be happy with a 60fps patch. Although Silknigth doesn't confirm exactly what insider info they have, they maintain it'll be more than just a simple remaster.
The scoop spilt over onto the GamingLeaksandRumours subreddit, and as you can imagine, there are plenty of naysayers. One sceptic wrote, "Interesting case of 'rando comes from out of nowhere with an impressive track record' versus 'claiming anything is happening with Bloodborne is an automatic disqualification'."
Another unconvinced Bloodborne fanatic wrote, "Isn't the thing these leakers do is speculate on everything and removing everything that doesn't turn out? GoT port is also pretty easy guess tbh." A third concluded, "Schrödinger bloodborne: bloodborne pc port is true and at the same time false depending of your opinion spectrum position."
Stop getting our hopes up
Click to enlargeWe could sit here all day and trawl the internet to find every time someone has spread some scandalous Bloodborne rumour. It's not unusual to see the game trending on Twitter/X. Whenever there's a Sony State of Play, Bloodborne starts trending, and we're inevitably disappointed.
Even if we believe Silknigth (and it's a big if), they say that the Bloodborne revamp will take time - suggesting it'll be a while off yet. At this point, it feels a bit like these supposed leakers are throwing darts at a dartboard and deciding what wild rumour they'll spread today.
We'd like to hope we're wrong on this one and that someone like Bluepoint Games is giving Bloodborne an overhaul akin to 2020's Demon's Souls, but to be honest, we've been here before. Gamers are rightly cautious, and after being burned too many times before, it'll take more than one random tweet to have us packing our cases for a return to Yharnam.
