Dr Disrespect sums up CoD HQ woes amid buggy MW3 launch

Herschel "Dr Disrespect" Beahm has been more than vocal against the Call of Duty series in the last few years, but his relationship with the series he once worked on appears to be mending, with Doc being sent a copy of Modern Warfare 3 and opting to shed light on the new Campaign. 

Yet instead of Doc being overly critical, he's actually become the unified voice of the entire community as Modern Warfare 3's Campaign Early Access launch stirs up quite a fuss.

Who'd have thought it? Dr Disrespect has reneged on his boycott of Call of Duty to dive into Modern Warfare 3 as the Campaign launches.

But Doc was one of many players who couldn't access the game at all, as the Campaign was being locked behind a wealth of bugs on this new CoD HQ system.

Whilst trying to get on the game, Doc was facing bugs which would cast him back to the main menu and instantly mocked the broken loop.

"Early Access, proceed, and just like that, boom! Modern Warfare 3. Jump in now! Welcome to the Campaign! Early Access, right now! Jump in and initiate the launch process! Restart the game and now you can play the Early Access Campaign! Jump in LIVE in front of millions around the world. Campaign Early Access! You can do it right now!" he jibed after five straight restarts of CoD HQ.

Before long though, he lost his patience, screaming "How the f**k do I play this game? How do I play this game? HOW?"

Moments later, he was left with his head in his hands, muted on stream.

Dr Disrespect echoes Call of Duty community thoughts over MW3 launch

CoD HQ has been under heavy criticism as of late, with it seemingly blocking the game-sharing tactic which saves families a fortune over the holiday season, and it has proved rather tricky to navigate around.

"Call of Duty HQ system seems way too complicated for casual players. The amount of posts I have seen asking how to install the campaign or where to find it is insane," added Call of Duty journalist and CharlieIntel voice Keshav Bhat.

Doc's frustrations were typical of the entire community though, as Call of Duty themselves scrambled to fix the "Disk Required" bug and a service outage for players who were stuck at the account ownership checks, unable to access the new game.

Thankfully, Modern Warfare 3's bugs were fixed before long, although some early impressions of the title make it seem as if it's not been worth the wait.
