For all that we can say about the direction of the Call of Duty franchise on console and PC, what with the string of crossovers ranging from Diablo demons to Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg (times five), nothing quite compares to CoD Mobile - and the jury is still out on whether this is good or bad.

The CoD Mobile game is becoming renowned for its incredibly outlandish weapon blueprints, having once started off with a cool fire-breathing dragon assault rifle before moving on to having a full-blown cinematic cut scene of WWII on a gun's iron sights.

The latest Warzone Mobile weapon is taking things even further, though, by turning your standard gun into a fried chicken skewer and cooking you a full roast in front of your very eyes.

CoD Mobile's latest blueprint is a chicken fryer. Yep.

Coming to Warzone Mobile soon appears to be an HCR 56 blueprint named "Extra Crispy", which will multitask as a standard assault rifle and a heated skewer that will fry chicken on command.

Leaker "Reality" showcased the blueprint for Extra Crispy on Twitter and revealed its gun inspection, which turns into an animation where your Operator cooks a full chicken on the end of your weapon before taking a munch mid-game.

It also appears to fry enemies into chicken nuggets as a dismemberment kill animation, scattering the map with tasty nugs.

The weapon blueprint also won't be available in the store as a bundle, which is bad news for Warzone Mobile fans' wallets. Reality claims it will likely be held behind a $100+ paywall of challenges and RNG-based gambling.

Unfortunately for some players who love these extreme blueprints, it will be exclusive to Warzone Mobile and won't be appearing in either the console games or even CoD Mobile, as the multiplayer app continues to boast some of the coolest and craziest Call of Duty content ever produced.

Now, all we need is a matching SMG that cooks Bisto gravy, which we can dip our fried drumsticks in.
