Call Of Duty Will Pay You Just To Finish The Modern Warfare 2 Campaign
Call of Duty is making a conscious effort for you to follow the storyline of Captain Price and co. this year, offering up a whole week of early access before the multiplayer distractions come into play. But if that wasn't enough to entice you into the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, there's set to be a load of freebies coming your way.
The esteemed characters are all back with this year's campaign, which is set to continue the completely revisited storyline that was kickstarted in 2019.
With the return of a new-look General Shepherd and an All Ghillied Up 2 mission planned, the campaign is set to be one of the best since the original MW2, and you're going to get a huge number of rewards just for playing.
Free Modern Warfare 2 Rewards Dished Out For Campaign Completion
Click to enlargeIn a new Call of Duty blog post, the developers have now confirmed that just by completing missions in the campaign, you'll be able to unlock multiplayer operators, customisation features, and even weapon blueprints.
These rewards can be redeemed during the early access week, or at any time afterwards, and will be instantly unlocked on the multiplayer variant of MW2 when it launches.

Players will be awarded these items after completing a mission, which hints that the Modern Warfare 2 campaign will have a total of 17 missions.
MW2 Campaign Rewards Include Captain Price's Favourite Weapon
In addition to the individual missions' rewards, Call of Duty is also probing you to finish the Modern Warfare 2 campaign by offering up a classic weapon for you to take into your multiplayer endeavours.
Captain Price's signature weapon from within the storyline, the Union Guard blueprint for the M4, will be given away for completing the entire campaign. The M4 blueprint includes the following four attachments:
- Optic: Aim OP-V4 Reflex
- Laser: SZ 1MW PEQ
- Muzzle: FSS Covert V Silencer
- Grip: Lockgrip Precision-40 Underbarrel Vertical
