Call of Duty leakers claim Activision turned up at their houses

The leaking community has become the main source of copium for the Call of Duty fandom, all as we wait patiently for good news about the next game us save them from the misery of the current title. 

It's a cycle that comes around every year, but leakers take advantage of it and reap the rewards. They inject hope into thousands of Call of Duty fans, wishing that they get what they want in the coming months. 

However, it seems Activision has had enough, as one leaker has claimed that the company's representative turned up to his house to deliver cease and desist notices on two separate occasions.

Call of Duty leaker "RalphsValve" has taken to social media to claim that his "hiatus" from reporting was a result of Activision and its legal partners turning up at his home.

The leaker claims that Activision and lawyers from MSK turned up to his home in December, on two different occasions. He says it was to hand-deliver cease and desist notices that claimed IP infringement towards Call of Duty and other Activision-owned games.

Although RalphsValve was not in on both occasions, his spouse was, and received the letters on his behalf. They reportedly included stern telling-offs in regard to Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 leaks, including the publication of key art and confidential information such as Operators and bundles.

RalphsValve also claimed that he scheduled a one-hour call with Activision and its legal party to flesh out the letters. It was just a week before Christmas, where the team went over all of his leaks in the last few months. The leaker then claimed that he was "intimidated and went off the radar."

It's worth noting that RalphsValve has made a number of leaks with fluctuating success, having been correct on some reports regarding release dates and Operators, but missing the mark on remastered Call of Duty titles and the non-existence of Modern Warfare 3.

Still, it's startling that leakers are now being met in-person by Activision. If only hackers were dealt with accordingly to this new aggression.
