Each Call of Duty fan has their favourite studio. For me, I'm team Treyarch. There's just something about the smoothness of the gunplay and movement, combined with 150hp and weapons that haven't been blessed with insta-kill, that just feels so much nicer than that in the Modern Warfare series.

But while many of the team Treyarch camp will still enjoy the MW series, or Sledgehammer's ad-hoc instalments, others are literally all-in on Black Ops.

It's so much so that some Call of Duty fans are planning on boycotting the series altogether after Black Ops 6...until Treyarch returns to power.

Taking to Reddit, one fan has started an early boycott of whatever follows Black Ops 6 (unless Treyarch's rumoured double-header comes into play), saying that Treyarch games are so superior that playing anything else that CoD produces would be pointless.

Due to heightened SBMM and a lack of good spawns outside of Treyarch's games, the CoD fan claimed that they won't be buying any Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer games and will be opting to play Warzone bewteen Black Ops'.

"Treyarch has always understood what makes a COD game fun IMO," they said. "As long as Treyarch continues making fun COD games that, at a minimum have good spawn logic and good maps, I will continue to buy their games."

They continued, "As for Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer games, I’ll likely stick with free Warzone during those cycles."

Other players agree, aside from those pre-existing Game Pass owners. "I’m just sticking to the ones that have a Zombies mode from now on," one fan added.

Another said, "After the decisions of MWII I am never touching another IW game. Old IW is dead." Treyarch's next instalment is set to be one of the most-prepared Call of Duty games ever, full with a groundbreaking Campaign, omnidirectional Multiplayer, and a wealth of starving Zombies content.
