Hollywood has been getting quite friendly with the Call of Duty scene, but so far, it's been a one-way street with A-list crossovers cooking and catching grenades in the shooter series.

Think Rambo, John McClane, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cheech and Chong, and more, the Call of Duty series is quickly becoming an arcade for celebs to blow off steam.

But this time, Call of Duty is flipping the script and making movies themselves. No, not a Fallout-like Netflix series, but rather a whole cutscene designed specifically for CoD Mobile weapon inspections.

CoD Mobile has always blown away the main series when it comes to its weaponry, being allowed much more creative freedom with the blueprints to make wacky designs without the realism mil-sim devotees going up in arms.

With Season 4 coming, CoD Mobile has now released a new blueprint for the WWII favourite gun the MG42, and the inspection for the mythic blueprint is simply incredible.

Upon inspection, the mythical MG42 will show an entire cutscene throwing the gun back to the trenches, where soldiers can be seen pushing down the barrel of the gun which has been transformed into a battlefield.

The cut scene lasts roughly 30 seconds - if you can find a nice corner to hide in - and ends with a picture flying onto your screen with a battle announcer hitting home some hard truths.

Hans Zimmer's latest CoD project was a weapon inspection symphony

It's been a hot minute since this legend has stepped into the arena in CoD, but the cinematic blueprint has actually been composed by Hans Zimmer

Zimmer is best known for his work on The Lion King, Dune, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, and Pirates of the Caribbean, winning two Oscars and four Grammys. Oh, and he composed THAT Modern Warfare 2 theme tune.

The CoD Mobile inspections continue to blow everyone out of the water, and it might be time for that to translate to Warzone too.
