We're not even on Modern Warfare 3 yet. The Beta is set to launch tomorrow (October 6), and we're still one month away from the title's full launch.

But even though the hype is ramping up for the new title, with pros and streamers giving it their full backing, others can't help but start looking towards Treyarch's full return as managing partner in 2024.

The Black Ops creators are stepping back in the ring next year - presumably for two years straight - and now their infamous Zombies mode is already making waves on leakers' shores.

Treyarch has confirmed that they are running up a new Call of Duty title through their job adverts, advertising that they are going all-in on Zombies for 2024, where they are assumed to be getting a two-year stint with a Black Ops 2-styled year-two calendar similar to MW3 with the MW2 maps.

With this, leaks have now emerged regarding the round-based maps that will be played out.

A new leaker alias "uwuleaker99" has taken to Twitter to share that the map could be called - or is codenamed - 'Garnet'.

The leaks also indicate that this will be a form of shipwreck (or a theme park version of a shipwreck) as the traps include "Quartz Deck Canon Trap" and a "Tentacle Trap", both semantics of a naval disaster.

Black Ops 2024 appears to have the classic 'Damned' soundtrack

Treyarch's most iconic Zombies game was Black Ops 1, with Five, Kino Der Toten, Moon, and more all featuring in the impressive catalogue of that year.

But it was also the first time that the Zombies soundtrack was aired properly, and now the iconic music is reportedly already recorded and ready to be added.

The leaker uwuleaker99 provided a good two-minute-long clip of the Damned soundtrack in its sixth form, and although some fans have claimed this will be used in Modern Warfare 3 for the new Outbreak DMZ hybrid, others have indicated that it has been found alongside the other Black Ops files and will stay exclusive to the main Treyarch series.

The hauntingly beautiful piano track can chill the spine of any Zombies fan, and its only a matter of time that we have it amplified through our consoles and headsets again.
