I've always wanted to be that character who yelled "Fetch me their souls" in Kino Der Toten. It sent chills down the spines of Zombies players everywhere as the Hellhounds were let loose between rounds four and seven.

Now, you can. You can now control the furry beasts in Zombies.

Thanks to Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, you can now befriend the hellish dogs and turn them against the zombies, teaming with you and evening reviving downed teammates.

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has a great Hellhound Easter egg

With so many different enemy types in Zombies this year, it would be nice to have a helping hand. Well, Treyarch agrees. Kind of.

They've now lent the paws of a very good boy, and thanks to an Easter egg he will fight for your side.

Around the map, you will be able to find "Chunk of Flesh" which can be added to your inventory with the quip "A tasty morsel." These can then be fed to a dog house in Seatown. You can place up to four chunks into the kennel, and this will then activate a dog who will come to your aid.

There are three levels of how much the hellhound can help, which is determined by how much you feed him.

Although the Hellhounds in games gone by have been spawns of Fluffy, Edward Richtofen's childhood pet who died in an aethereal accident, the Hellhound available in Modern Warfare 3 changes names.

So far, names such as Archie and Waffles have been seen. You can also pet the dog, which is the second woofer that you can give scratches to in the game.

Your newfound best friend will help eat your enemies as well as revive you if you're down and he has no enemies left to chomp.

The fleshy boy will stay with you for as long as you stick by him and don't jet off into the sunset, but you will need to give him extra chunks depending on your current threat tier (one chunk of flesh in the Tier 1 threat zone, three in Tier 2, and three in Tier 3).

Loyalty, power, and well-being are what you'll get from this Easter egg, which is well worth your time in Modern Warfare 3.
