Please, gaming leaks, let us rest.

The cries for a Bloodborne remake have long echoed around the industry, and it's hard to tell if it's more frustrating that players are still as incessant as ever in their calls for the game, or that they still haven't gotten it.

At the top of the list of the remake/remaster hierarchy, the Victorian FromSoftware brute won fans over quickly, and many feel that it's well overdue that it gets a mechanical crank.

And even though remasters have been proved and disproved time and time again, it looks like rumours are hotting up again.

Bloodborne remaster is still on, claims The Snitch

Give us a rest.

It looks like we're back in the throes of hoping for a Bloodborne remaster, as notorious leaker The Snitch has claimed that it's back on the menu.

He suggests in his Discord that there's going to be a State of Play event in September that has a focus on Asian developers - but it won't include Bloodborne. But that doesn't mean it isn't in the works, as it's thought that its developers will turn out a PS5 remaster (rather than a remake).

It's claimed that the game will be aiming for launch in 2025, and it's too early in development to be shared during the State of Play, and it's likely not going to be announced this year at all - but this is news that's likely going to be reassuring for fans.

A big question has accidentally been dropped into the lap of Bluepoint, the development team behind the revival of Demon's Souls - but The Snitch has claimed that the team is too busy for the project, and won't have anything to do with it.

Even so, the remaster's development will be more than enough to keep hype levels high. Now it had better reach expectations.
