Can we get a little hush, please? As the world of A Quiet Place expands with its next silver-screen outing, it seems that the story isn't done yet. While Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn get ready to lead A Quiet Place: Day One, that's not the only place you'll be able to get your horror fix in 2024.

The Office's John Krasinski directed A Quiet Place in 2018, which kickstarted Hollywood's current obsession with sensory horror. Since then, we've had a 2020 sequel and Day One serving as a prequel. News of a Quiet Place video game first surfaced in 2021, and now, we know what to expect.

Saber Interactive reveals A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead

Saber Interactive has revealed A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, which will tell a wholly unique story set within the world of A Quiet Place. Although reportedly designed for fans of the films, it doesn't look like Abbott family will be stopping by - but you never know.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC later in 2024. Billed as a first-person, single-player, horror game, it's 'inspired' by Paramount's movie series of the same name. The Road Ahead "takes players into the chilling world of A Quiet Place to experience an untold story of survival after humanity’s fall to deadly creatures that hunt by sound."

The story follows a young woman who's forced to "endure not only the nightmarish creatures of the apocalypse, but also the anguish of interpersonal family conflicts and her own inner fears." Players will be armed with only their wits and what tools they can scavange, while The Road Ahead warns you'll face many challenges while "trying to survive an ever-present threat of the unknown enemies."

As well as being a dramatic new adventure set in the A Quiet Place Universe, Saber promises "absolute horror as you hide, distract, and sneak past the ultimate predatory creatures." Like in the movies, the slightest noise could lead to your demise.

The game is now available to wishlist on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam. If you're willing to keep it zipped, head to the official A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead site or follow on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
