57-year-old becomes oldest Apex Legends player to hit Masters
Apex Legends Ranked is a mode with an extra level of competition for players, allowing them to compete against opponents of a similar level and climb up through the tiers.
For the majority of the community, they'll sit at Silver, Gold, or Platinum - never able to get any higher, as your skills will often plateau at a certain division.
Only a select few sharpshooters will ever make it to Masters, and now, a 57-year-old Twitch streamer has achieved exactly that.
This potentially makes Duncanas the oldest Apex Legends player to reach Masters in the game's history, meaning the community is extremely impressed he's finally hit the milestone.

Taking to the Apex Legends subreddit, Duncanas revealed that he'd hit Masters in Apex Legends at 57. Most of us can only dream of making it into that division, let alone doing it at his age.
This is a tremendous achievement and shows age is just a number, as very few members of the community will ever climb that high in Ranked.
Showcasing the moment he hit the division on stream, it's clear Duncanas was over the Moon to reach his goal, and it'll be interesting to see if Predator is on the cards in the future.
The talented Apex player also revealed some of the clips he recorded on his journey through Ranked, showing him laser-beaming foes with the R301 and pulling off outplays with the Peacekeeper.

Another user even claimed the post made them feel less self-conscious about being considered an 'old gamer,' thanking Duncanas for reminding them that "we gotta do what we enjoy and not feel pressured by others."
We previously wrote about Duncanas annihilating a rival squad while referring to himself as a "boomer." With the next step being Predator for Duncanas, it'll be exciting to see if he can continue to improve and reach the very top of the ladder.
